This new scheme is perfect for first time buyers struggling to save for a deposit in the current market as well as those currently living in a rented property, who would like to own their own home, as sales manager, Bernard Bates explained: "More and more mortgage companies are asking for substantial deposits from first time buyers – often proving an uphill struggle. With our Rent to Buy option, you can live in your new home while taking the time you need to acquire the necessary deposit to purchase it. The rent you pay during that period is then credited towards the purchase price of your home – that is 100% of the rent you have paid. "This is offered as a Lease Option Agreement, where you are able to rent your home for an agreed period, with an option to purchase at a pre-agreed price at the end. We even pay the solicitor fees to put the agreement in place. "When the lease option agreement comes to an end, you can choose to proceed with the purchase of your home or not.
